Thread: forgot about the master smuggler

Well time was running down on my toons my weaponsmith. Had to renew for a month to keep my stuff from disappearing into the abyss. Anyway this will be the fist time that I will have my mws/ms and not have my mbh/ch/med up and running. So I just wanted to ask some questions about what the last four months have brought not that I am overly confident that much has been done.
Is the sliceing still about the same they havent put in any godsmack code to make it near worthless. I hope to god they did not do anything to it the only reason I took it up was to slice my own guns.
Are buffs, and food still king? In other words is makeing spice even remotely worth it now.
They havent nerfed FD have they being that its my only defense.
I am not big into fighting with the smuggler template. I am just curious has its combat position actually gotten worse in relationship to the game at large. Without my mbh toon I kind of feal naked and am curious does my smuggler actually have any combat potential at all above killing the occassional squill.

In all honesty, there's been little change for Smugglers. We've seen a small addition of JtL content in the form of Smuggler only missions, although these are virtually the same as other missions released at the same time and certainly not Smuggling in game. We've also seen the removal of the PUP slicing exploit.
That's about it really.

Thanks guys for the response. I just cannot imagine not getting any hunting is and FD is smugglers only saveing grace. Just kind of worried since last time I checked the bhs and jedi were trying to get it nerfed.

lol, speaking of which, anyone remember when they put both Low Blow and Panic Shot on a timer and that one guy suggested we change our title to Time Bandits? Good times.

Hell I remember going to the krayt graveyard once and seeing ten guys just lieing on the ground. So I offered to heal them. Response no we are hunting krayt dragon. We bleed him and play dead. Then I asked how long they had been at it oh fifty minutes. The only profession to take an animal down with a cdef.
Poor krayt death by a thousand cuts literally.

Now and then on naritus I hang around in a cantina or the starports and give out free spices, from that I've got a (although small) client list whom I make personal deliverys to every now and then..I'm not rich from it but it's nice pocket change. I advertise them as the buffs buff. (funny tho how the people that know nothing about spice send me harassing tells about the downers afterwords)
