Thread: What's up with the revamp?

Can anyone sum up what is going on with the Revamp? I'm not inclined to read 25 pages worth of the stickied thread.

To sum it up... it's not happening for a long time (if ever). Maybe by this time next year... but I think I'm being optimistic. We've got the CU first, and then the Devs will probably decide to revamp all the other professions first. And then when we're supposed to get our revamp, the Devs will decide to do a nuna and kreetle revamp. Then, another year after, the Devs will announce that (just before the Smugglers were promised our revamp again) they decided to cancel any furthur service of SWG... mainly because they hate Smugglers in every way possible. 
But seriously... it's not going to happen for atleast another 8-12 months... I'd say probably longer then that.

So basically, what you are saying, is that our continued neglect has reached epically humorous proportions.

yes, although with every new delay, it becomes less and less humorous

I looked at the In Concept Forum and noticed that Thunderhart updated the IC2: Smuggler Profession Rewamp 1 year and 5 days after creating the initial post. I wonder if there might be a connection there. ;-)

Re-vamp date: 2009 one week before SWG 2 comes out, which BTW will have a Smuggler profession but will also need a re-vamp.

I hear the Smuggler prof in Galaxies2 will have even more potential, but be even less complete
