Thread: Pixie spice + Smuggler's Delight = -20%, 45 min DOWNER?

Yeah. Wow. I mean...what the Hell?
I popped some Pixie to tackle a Jedi Knight (which I succeeded in with a partener) and took some Smuggler's Delight before hand to reduce the downer.
Worked well. I got my 20% boost for 15 minutes. Cool. My partener went down and I was dropped to 5% health before using Last Ditch which incapped the JK and I dropped the DB.
Now, here's where I get mad. I check back up to see how close I came on my Pixie. I saw that I had just passed the upper and was on the downer. No big deal. Until I saw the downer:
00:43:51 and ticking downward.
Exsqueeze me? Uh baking power? 45 minute downer...with Smuggler's Delight!? I only got a 15 minute upper for Pete's sake! No one informed me of this. Thank God the fight was over with and all I had to do was stand around and chit chat cause I would have been in some deep stuff.
I think this is a pretty big issue. I mean, we had a whole post from Wes where they told him and Caylin they were totally redoing Spices in the Combat Upgrade to make them usefull again. Who in their right mind would ever use this stuff with a 45 minute, 20% downer? This is worse than before.
I /bugged it just in case and I really hope it is a bug. Yall know any different? I mean, I didn't try popping another Pixie to see if it killed the downer and kept me on the upper (like an addiction), but I haven't heard anything on that either and it's too late to get on and try it.
So, yeah. Discuss, rant, rave, inform, ect, ect so on and so forth.

All the Pixie I dropped yesterday whilst duelling with guildmates lasted 15 mins, but the downer wore off after less than a minute, I didn't take any Smugglers delight though. Maybe thats breaking the downer and adding to it, instead of subtracting.

Just a sort-of related note: Aurilian health crystals (+2000 health) still work just fine.

It very well could be. Wouldn't be the only thing borked i this thing 
Although I still think it's an issue cause all the Spice users I know and contact with use Smuggler's Delight. They try to be smart with it. But...Hell, it sure ain't doing it's job.
A terrible thing that I have to use my permanent, good stuff on Live to test this out.

Standard downers seem to be 30 seconds (with some possibly at 20), so I'm guessing this is just a big bug. With downers that low and fairly tame stat-wise, however, Smuggler's Delight might not really be necessary these days.

I was popping pixie all night last night on a guild hunt and the downers were so brief I hardly noticed them -- except the part where I fell to my knees and puked my guts out. /rofl

Hey I don't know about the rest of you but on starsider lag is whats killing me. BTW, good job on the Jedi DB! We should always post when we take one down. That LDA must have made him situpand recognize. Smugglers 1 - Overt starport Jedi 0.

It was like that lol! 
Him and his buddy were dueling in the Cnet starport. My partener had a mission on his friend. When the guy was at like 10% health from dueling and had just used a Jedi heal, he nailed him with one shot and got the payout

We watched his Force Armor drop (which you can only apply outside of combat) and engaged him when it had 5 seconds left.
It was funny cause 10 minutes after we got him, two seperate BHs showed up looking for him. And they still stuck around.

I just got the same result after using 50% Smuggler's Delight, and then deleted my spices! Fortunately I mentioned the Delight in my bug report so hopefully they'll connect the dots.
