Thread: Um, Should I use my ADK on my FWG?

As I said in an earlier post...
"I got my FWG pup'd and now it has a DPS of 604 when I use it. I bought some cheap as hell weapons that I hoped would convert well and it paid off big time.
I bought a Scatter that turned into a "High Capacity Scatter" with good damage.
I bought a Featherweight FWG and it kept it's bonuses to dodge and speed and all that but isn't as good as my original FWG however I haven't sliced it yet.
I bought a laser rifle that converted to an Advanced Laser Rifle. It's damage went up to 509-1030. Sliced it. Pup'd it and now it'sDPS is 585.
I also bought a T21 and pup'd that. My speed with it now is 1.28! Which is great for setting states at a 64m distance. The DPS is 467- some picketts caught the nasty end of that yesterday.
All of the weapons I bought were under 10k, most often 5-7k."
Now I'm wondering if I should use my ADK on my FWG. I hadn't used it because I didn't know what would be valuable after the CU. Now, I KNOW this gun is the sh*t right now- but I haven't even SEEN a Renegade in live yet (Do you have to complete a mission to get one?).
I would hate to see this thing destroyed- (that's what happens when you take it out of the ADK, right?)
In fact Iused the repair tool on it last night holding my breath.It now has a condition of 800/800. I bought like 4 or 5 crates of those Power Ups thatmade my gun soooooo ass kickin' ( I can still pup a gun that is ADK'd, right).
But I just at this moment remembered I even HAD anADK.
Should I ADK this jewel? What weapons/equipment are you guys ADK'ing nowadays?

Are those base DPS's? If so, YES YES YES!

Answer to the first question...yes, ADK'm
The Renegade is crafted, my guildmate made me one last night and I love it.
However
My FWG5 is really pumping out some great numbers as well.

HOTDOG, you're probably gonna wanna hold onto BOTH the FWG5 and a Renegade as long as you can. because you're gonna want at least one kinetic and one energy weapon on you at all times.
but that FWG5 sounds swweeeeet. so i'd say yeah slap that ADK on it.

I've got the exact same question... But about my DL-44 XT that was converted from a "okay" (and sliced) metal DL-44 -
Max dam is 861, pup'd I do somewhere around 660dps with it.
I _love_ my gun. But I'm not sure if it's as good as I can get. I've only got my one ADK, and I'm not really interested in spending millions for another one.

Yeah, you have to delete the weapon to get the ADK back. I just did it to my DE10 because the CU turned it into a POS...along with every damn one of my FWG5s, DX2s and scatters and my brand new DL44. 
All I have left is a Featherweight with 500dps until I can waste some more credits on new weapons. I'm pissed to say the least.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna ADK it next time I log in but first I'm gonna try to see if I can find some good Renegades and hope I can beat thatDPS- not sure but I'll try.
Also- I have some pretty mean lookingguns I can't use anymore-a DX2 and a Republic Blaster. I don't remember the stats but I'm thinking maybe I can trade them for something.I might put them up on the trade forums.

I don't know about you, Spinning, but I noticed that DX-2's and FWG5's got really nice conversions. 500dps is pretty uber btw.

I would wait till you see what the other weapons are like. The renegade has some pretty nice stats... from what I have seen the best stock weapons are around 300 DPS from what I have seen before slice.. at least some of mine are.

Certainly my Gorax FWG and my old grinding DX2 converted better than my honey of a de-10, which has now been relegated to a mantlepiece ornament.
But I think I'm going to wait and see what happens in the next two weeks, finalise my template, let the WS get their heads roundcraftingand then go spend a fortune on bignasty guns.

I just think it's rather hillarious that a Featherweight conerted better than any of my krayt weapons included ancient DX2s and FWG5s and my sweet DE10 and brand new krayt DL44. Basically I lost a ton of weapons and stacks of PUP crates.
SO I now have a ADK on a Featherweight...who would of thought.
I shopped for a Renegade and the best I found was around 250dps...kind of disappointing but maybe it will take the WSs a while to figure it all out again.
Was kind of sad deleting my DE10 just to get the ADK back but then that gun is probably not going to be made much any more seeing as how it isn't all that special now.
Gave up Pistoleer yesterday and tried MBH. It's ok I suppose...just seems wrong though. Wanted to try out MC but the way the respec is working I couldn't get to it. The available elite points don't make sense to me...they don't match with the skill points released.
