Thread: Crowd control? More like creature control...

As the title says, we don't control 'crowds' very well. Against melee-only opponents, like most creatures, we do fine. Concussion shot roots them in place (which by the way is not exactly what it's supposed to do), so if the creature doesn't spit it's out of the action.

I don't see us having anything for ranged opponents, though.

Panic shot and low blow (which is currently broken) can help a bit but currently in order to keep a ranged opponent out of the action we have to use multiple abilities on that one mob. Concussion shot to keep them out of melee range, panic shot to keep them from firing for a few, and then low blow when it works again... then repeat when they run out.

This can become an impossibility with multiple opponenets, rendering our primary role useless.

I've struggled with this for hours since the CU when fighting marauders on Endor..

Right now my strategy is to fire at one marauder, then hide behind a tree.

They all come running but then I sick my pet on the one I shot and feign death.

All the others return to the base and I kill the one I pulled.

This is a pretty good strategy but not exactly what I had in mind with the 'crowd control' role of smuggler.

What say you?

True, I can handle any of the missions on dathomir that don't involve spitters. Imperial missions against gun toting rebel npcs can be a nightmare too, alot of FD usage, which fails way too often I might add.
