So I will ask here. Smugglers seem to have the best grounding when it comes to changes in game. I guess when you have seen the worst, nothing else they throw at us seems that bad...lol..
I have to admit I have been too chicken to log my character in after reading all the threads in the other forums that list game-breaking bugs. A lot of it I'm sure is just people being emotional....
Anyway my question is. Is it worth logging in now, or should I wait a week, orwill I be shopping for a new game?Whats your CURB experience (on live) been like?

Log in now. Everything used to con red to me and now I can walk around an imperial city as a combatant and not worry, stormies con grey (weak, 1XP) to me. Will make my way over to an advanced planet and give it a try and may revise my answer. As things get fixed, they will ratchet down the levels, but you'll always be able to remember the days that you soloed four squads of stormtroopers without buffs...

I got quite a few chars across diff servers and so far my favorite is my master smuggler/master commando/novice doc, finding xp giving mobs is the hardest part. There doesn't seem to be nearly as many lvl 80-82 mobs as there are lvl 20s and 200+, not much in the middle.

Log in bro. Get a hold of some good weapons while they are still cheap. Try some different profs and get your character tight to your playstyle.
Star Wars is ON again. I just can't wait for the GCW to get more interesting.

I'm actually a little excited now. I posted a similar question in another thread and it had me considering putting a pistol to my characters temple and going shopping. Tonight, we shall dance!

Oh, and make sure you have the volume up...the music, perhaps, is the best part.

As someone else mentioned the hardest part is finding things at a CL that either make things exciting or that make things worth killing (if you need XP). Ran around soloing the broken krayts and it tired me out... cl80 vs cl 60-64 and an occational cl70 giant barely a scratch on me and 1XP per kill (even though each took a dozen or more shots).
Good thing they occationally had loot! (but that was always the problem with those things)
My other char (working on Rifles as first elite, CL in high 40s) had a lot harder of a time cause I was after XP and the range of XP granting creatures is so small and they are pretty rough with more then 1 at a time... gonna have to find people to group with there before the 2x xp week is up.
Anyone know how many tissues renegades use?

I'm still not feeling the love... its still feels slow and tedious to me... and I'm finding more and more hatred of the "gun is a gun" model every time I log in.
but yes, you should jump on now instead of later - you'll have more chances to respec and try different skill sets and also just catch your bearings in general. Theres nothing really in game now that is going to magically get better anytime soon.
