Thread: Wuk's, Auk's, Clamps and knives!
Oh, how can a 80+CL 'ANIMAL' drop items needed for slicing? Confusing. Unless of course that animal gobbled down some NPC's for lunch. Wouldn't their stomach acid affect those said items? Maybe that animal wanted their teeth sliced and the deal went wrong somehwere. 
It would seem the developers need to be fed to some of the these animals. Heh, All joking aside. Hook a brotha' up!

If you have many crates with auk's and wuk's consider yourself lucky and rich. Each auk will give 1-3 Shock absorbent Paddings which sell for up to 5 mil each on some servers. Just get it out off your crate and chose "salvage" from the circle menu, very simple. Go to the bazaar, use "galactic vendor search", choose "misc" then "generic items" and find outhow each off the 9 different tools are priced in your galaxy. Now set up a vendor or have a friend sell these.
Find the tread on these forums or the WS forums that tell what the crafting and slicing caps on each weapon is. Very usefull so you don't apply a 4 step speedslice on a weapon already capped.
Seems that people now have their regular Smuggler for slicing, so simply spamming in Eisley will not get you much business. The tools are so expencive that people seem to go shopping for the cheapest tools, then bring them along with the item for slice to their favorite Smuggler. So best thing to do is selling them on a vendor. With the new "galactic vendor search" it is very easy to find THE vendor which sell whatever you need for the best price. Location doesn't matter any more, forget about the coronett suburbs.
Don't just slice any armor or weapon you find, it's a waste off good tools.

The clamps and the knifes are useless btw.. At least to my knowledge.

I just found 2 crates of auks going for 5k each on chimaera, obviously I then bought them, salvaged the loot, got 7 SAPS from the crates.
I then did a full AB slice for someone with for a certain 7-figure fee, using said loot.
Sometimes, lady luck shines on me brighter than usual.

Yeah I have a complete set of smuggling tools....minus the analyzer mode....if I had one of those, it would be complete.
