The Jedi crack down. Vader shows up at random planets, searches them, auto tracks jedi on them

(he uses the force!) and after a very interseting fight (He toys with you) permadeath. When he

lands on a planet no jedi can leave (unless by smuggler which is done at the smugglers own risk as

imperials will attack you in space and you probably will be bountied by the empire.) Once combat is

intiated with him (special imperial march or emperor music sounds) the only end result is

permadeath. (happily you can inheret your former jedi's worldly belongings.) All jedi houses and

belongings become attackable by dark jedi and imperials. (jedi aren't suppose to have any

possessions anyways.) Yeah you might not like this but it does make the game more interesting

and challanging (think of someone telling you you just made it out in time vader just showed up or

Vaders here we need to find a good smuggler and fast.) Maybe a jedi master can have a75%

chance of escaping vader in an accounter. Knight 50% chance padawan your gonna die.... and so on.

Vader can only engage for permadeath one jedi at a time so another jedi can "save" a jedi who is

under vaders Light saber with a sacrifice command. I think it would make the game more fun and

jedi would become amore sparseproffession. Just an idea.

Probably not a good idea to reference the holocaust in the title.

Permadeath will never ever happen

MMOs are moving away from playing roles, and moving towards a turn based FPS.

I suggest you go post this in the jedi forum (if you havent already) since it is LARGELY jedi based. I think there you will find a new meaning of suffering as you are slowly digested over a thousand years.

Serious now

Perma death for Jedi will NEVER happen. Itmight have worked at the start and maybe if they brought it back just after they got rid of it. Now however is a different story. MANY MANY MANY accounts would be canceld and thats just bad buisness.

See maybe we will get cool underworld and smugglery changes when the star wars tv show airs and they have a super cool smuggler episode, then all the kiddys will want to be a smuggler and SOE will laugh, lucasarts will laugh and all the children will laugh and all the true smugglers will die a little more inside.
