Yeah...I would've seriously considered going to FanFest this year, but I'm having LASIK done on my eyes. So, that put me in a financial crunch. Plus, I'm already heading to Georgia in May to hook up with some friends that I met online 3 years ago, and we're all going to the opening midnight showing of Ep. 3.
Maybe I'll shoot to get to FanFest next year. It'd be nice if they moved it East next year though...maybe not all the way to the east coast, but I'm thinking Houston would be a nice site...it's only a 3 hour drive for me...
Ah well...
Have fun Geevo!

hahaha, see ya there, Geevo!
Zandergeef, i'd strongly suggest booking a room, last year everything was starting at 8am, would have been hell if the guild and i didn't get a room.

I'll be there, pretty sure Joras/Fishbrains will too, if he can get the old ball and chain to give him a free pass that weekend.
And if you're driving in, stay in Anaheim, otherwise you will suffer the wrath of the 405...and she's like the sea, moody and unpredictable.

I'll be there. I live in LA so I'll likely do what I did last year -- drive down with an SWG friend, with each of us driving one day each. The 405, she sucks (my friend calls her "the beast") no matter when you drive her. But I found that on a Friday morning driving south from LA is pretty much the lightest of the traffic load (most folks are driving northbound in the mornings).

I've got you beat! I'm in Maine, the exact opposite of CA. Though Wes trumps me...for the same country I think I have a sizable (dis)advantage on the commute!!!
I won't be there, needless to say...here's to the East Coast next year!
