Thread: slicing terms problem

I need help. I am trying to slice terminals but when i do it a message says i am not standing close to it.. I move and still nothing. is this a bug or am i doing it wrong. I have slice2 atm and want to increase it.. plz any help would be great. Ti-be

sometimes it is the angle at which you are viewing the terminal. When that happens to me I walk away and come back and try again.

Yeah that can be it or sometimes some other part of the environement blocks your view this happens alot in player cities.

There's some terminals with placements that seem to prevent slicing no matter where I stand. I think some of the ones at Yavin Mining Outpost are like that and one in a player city placed at the base of a Tatooine Sun statue on Kettemoor. That sun even makes it so that vehicle stores say out of range when you are too close to the base. It's like the overhang something makes it seem to the game as if it's on the other side of a wall from you even though at the level of the terminal it is not.
