I'm a weaponsmith as well as smuggler.

I've been wondering, should I be saving my great components for the changes? I mean, why use the great stuff and risk getting a slice I don't want, right?

Do you think we will be able to clear our current weapons of slices so we can re-slice them?

Has anyone else been wondering this? Are there already posts on the subject?

I wouldn't save too much. CU is not until the first week of May. You're looking at some time for bug fixes for that and ROTW for a little while. Then you're looking at time it takes them to finish coding something that is still in design right now... In other words, don't hold your breathe waiting for the Revamp because we still have a ways to go. If anything, being a Weaponsmith myself, I'd say you should hold out on some of you weapons until after the CU. The super special ones with limited schematics. Yeah, I'm not going to craft any more of those than I have to for a little while.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" HonestlyI dont think any one knows really the information on what is to happen to existing weapons and slices is pretty vauge right now.
