does anyone know when smuggler revamp is due to go into testing or going live ?

If I recall Tiggs has mentionned that there will be significant updates to the Smuggler systems on the next major publish.

I think Wes referred to it as the Smuggler Experience.

No definitive date is/ever will be set.

I believe current word on the street is, Publish 18 should fix slicing with a new system, and the "Smuggler Experience", IE: the rest of it, would be 19. But it might all be together. We really don't know, but Veela posted us some yummy info from a chat she had at E3 with someone.

just another desperate smuggler chimming in

smuggler revamp. lol if one more person whines about a minus slice argh. no really i wanted to mess up your 250 k gun .like i have a choice . yes it still random no it doesnt matter what i use to make the tools with no i dont have a choice hence the random part pay 1st !

You should check out Veela's post about her visit to E3 andwhat she learned there. It seems Slicing is coming soon™, but the Smuggler Experience is on hold for a bit as, despite the code being more or less done, there's a lot of dialogue that has to be writen and passed through their approval system.

There has to be a method of devising what the slice is going to be - if all the same weapons that have the same serial number get the exact same slice - then THERE HAS TO BE A WAY.

I just have no idea where to start to look.

of course theres a nother delay in smuggler, fix the slicing ill be happy with that .
