Mate you may want to restate your question. You are asserting something that is going to get you flamed all to hell. The devs have said that Last Ditch is working as intended. The lesson of the day is that you dont want to be standing in front of a smuggler who's about to give his last "Hurrah!", nor behind one that had too much pie and beer the night before. I am a little astounded by someone complaining that commandos/smugglers are going to be overpowered before they are even fixed. Commando's are so broken that they are unplayable. Smuggler has been screwed over because of jedi and bh whining so many times that they are very nearly useless. Many of us combined the two professions for obvious crowd control reasons. To date its a fun way to be useful to a group, but nowhere near overpowered. When AOE is fixed it will mean the same thing that it did before, and that is "Do Not stand near a smuggler who is going down. There is a 50/50 chance that you or he will be dieing very soon. It is the same with aoe. Gah! its sad that this is the only way a commando will ever send a crowd running and screaming away from him.

I think most of the people reading this post have missed your point.
I however have thought about this, and think it would be a devistating template
the ability to hold your health barat 1 point while repatedly spamming last ditch using an AOE weapon. would be insane. the problem is that there are not enough skill points to do this template.

While we're on the subject of fantasy templates, I personally think MDef/MLS/MHealer/Mpowers would be completely outrageous too! NERF T3H JED....I can't even finish saying it....

This post is wrong enough that it forces me to do a few things I never or rarely do.
First it causes me to post, I hate posting and much prefer to lurk.
Second it causes me to be derogatory, I really hate being a forum Ramboo trash talking in a way I know that prevents someone from poping you in the mouth is just a way for weak insecure wannabebullys to get their kicks. But on this I have to say haven't you Jedi thought of enough ways to destroy everyone else in the game. Do you really need invent ways that a system *MIGHT* be exploited so that you can come here and try to nerf us? Is it not enough that you have the ability to build a template that combines all the features necessary to do anything in the game. Does the fact that others are sort of allowed to play the game really bother you that much? Personally I suggest you take your JediPoodoo back to the Jedi forums where they enjoy the stench of a good nerfing.
Third this post is going to do the one thing I thought I would never do, call for a nerf. Your post does show how one particular special is so over powered that it allows another to be used without the designed limitations. THIS REALLY IS GAME BREAKING. So as a fix I suggest they NERF AVOID INCAP. What should be done is to make it exactly like feign death, the jedi thought it was great and balancing when that happend to us so they should be overjoyed when it happens to them. what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Perhaps you should get familiar with the EXTREMELY long reuse timer of Last Ditch. Isn't the timer like 10 minutes or more?

1st of all it is not an exploit to mix jedi with other profession. The devs hav said in the past that mixing jedi with other professions "is working as intinded"

no i don't think that's true at all. there's PLENTY of players who want to do other things than be jedi.
trust me , If you nerf all the jedi in this game to the point that they are no more then this game will fade away into oblivion. I have seen people come and go from the game, and most of the new players are going for jedi. I hear from newbs all the time, about how they cant wait to get done with the village. we even had a group of guys that got to the village in less than a week from the time the first created thier account. there may be plenty of players that want to be other things, but I doubt the number of them comes close to the number that want the opportunity to be a jedi.
Star Wars is NOT all about jedi. Star Wars is about an oppressive Galactic Empire(ruled by an evilSith - basicly an evil jedi and his apprintice - a jedi lured to the darkside and now evil)and the ragtag group of Rebelsfighting for their freedom, and the family of jedi who get caught up in the middle of it.
I understand that star wars is not all about jedi, but when you first saw star wars, was you first thought {boy I shure would like to be a chef} more of the story revolves around the force and jedi, than anything else.
these are just my opinions, so take them as you wish.

You are correct in many ways sir,and in direct converstation I think you would find we agree for the most part.
