Thread: Could Someone please answer a couple of questions for me?

Ok first off who or what profession makes the fine crafted tool kit and the simple tool kit?

Are clamps and knifes useless now?

All I ever wanted was to be a jedi since day one. Well my dream came true.
Well I finally made it to jedi, not by my own doings but because SOE/LA made it so.
If things could go back like it was I would gladly give up jedi. In the mean time I am going to play my game and enjoy the opportunity to be jedi while I can before it ends.

So where do you get the kits to slice then like the fine and simple tools? I have crates of Armor and weapon upgrade kits that I have salvaged.

This question gets asked a lot and has answered a lot.

I hate to tell you this but the parts you need to get a good slice requires that you kill something that takes a good sliced weapon and armor to kill.

Tier 4 and 5's in space, Krayts, Night Sisters for high end components. Mercenarys on lok will get you lower end components.

I did look at the FAQ but was not in the mood to bypass the bs!

I think I am converting my kits and selling them.I am soon to be a retired smuggler.lol

Yeah, they pretty much wiped out a large part of the relationships Smugglers had with Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths. No more player-crafted WUKS and AUKs and since all pieces needed to slice must be looted, no more mass slicing as well (the latter may be good or bad, depending on your point of view).


NOTHING a smuggler needs to perform a slice (one of three of his "jobs" and none of which is actually SMUGGLING, mind you) is craftable by said Smuggler, NOR by any other crafter in game. Well, except for the weapon or armor itself. Otherwise, everything MUST BE LOOTED. (OK, repeating myself here...)


This game is fast becoming combat and loot based and will soon be called Jedi Wars Galaxies: We Are All Jedi... And Jedi, by the way, can't have their weapons sliced, and don't get or need to wear armor. Soon, it won't make a difference that a Smuggler has to rely on looted items to slice; everyone who remains in the game will be Jedi and won't need Smugglers to slice anyway...
