Had an idea on this myself...
Kill all the Jedi
Kill al the bounty hunters
On a serious note some interesting ideas there

OK, BH and Jedi want to nerf FD. Of course they do, they are two outstanding combat classes on their own, without taking on another profession. Of course, we smugglers know it is pretty much the only combat skill we have at ALL.
So, following is a proposal I have written up for modifying FD so that it has some PvP use without being an 'opt-out' that is 100% effective all the time. It balances the skill, making dabblers effective against non-jedi, non-BH, non-smuggler players, while at the same time, leaving the Master Smuggler the escape artist he should be and allowing it to be useful in PvE by younger smugglers.
Make a skill mod for BH in the investigation tree, as well as in one branch of the Jedi tree and the smuggler DF tree. Call it whatever you want, we'll call it battle-awareness for the moment.
The numbers I initially worked up will look something like this (I do these in my head each time, so they might look different in other posts, but some playbalance will need to be tried on it anyways):
DF1 70
DF2 10
DF3 15
DF4 25
Master Smuggler 65
Total 185.
Invest 3 25
Invest 4 25
Master BH 40
Total 90.
When you attempt to feign, a roll is made against the battle-awareness of the last person to damage you.
So, if you have DF 1 and are up against an Invest 3 BH, you have a 45% of succeeding the feign. Against Invest 4, you have a 20% chance. Against a MBH, a 5% chance of succeeding even if you have DF 3.
By the same note, the master smuggler always has a 95% chance of succeeding a feign against anyone. You can rework the numbers, but there are a couple considerations I followed that should be used:
1. Master Smugglers are escape artists. This tool for escape should not be taken from them.
2. DF 1 smugglers who are trying to make master need DF to work most of the time in PvE in order to survive getting their pistol experience to master. There needs to be a large starting number for FD.
3. 3000 BH's are not real BH's anymore than a 0100 smuggler is a real smuggler. The bulk of the ability to offset FD should be at Master BH to give a real reason to be a master hunter. The FD ability should have a value at master that gives the genuine smuggler a strong access to the ability. Dabblers in either profession should have limited success with it in PvP.
4. Grouping should not allow the Master BH to team up with the uber-template of the month and automatically win. If you group with lesser BH, you run the risk of your target having a better feign opportunity.
All of this would go hand in hand with getting FD to work correctly (no targetting, looks like a corpse, no grouping, no healing, combat flags removed, some kind of XP penalty for Jedi, lost mission for BH, and success for the person not feigning).

Screw nefing FD. I don't like it when the Jedi and BH can kill me before my computer even tells me I'm attacked. Damn staight, its the only thing we have left. TKA, BH, and Jedi have all the advantages and they want more. Bloody hell people...
