You start with charging how much you want, and then taking it from there. 
(Prices vary, but you can get away with 140+. Atleast thats what i charge, and customers generally agree).

What I charge...
For purchases usually from 1-2000 faction I charge a flat 125 credits per point.
2-5000 I'll charge around 135.
Anything higher then that... I charge even more...
faction*1.18*125
6000*1.18=7080*125=885000.
The longer I have to sit there... the more I charge.

110-150cpp depending on faction and whether or not I like the person, hehe.

140cr per FP on orders under 10k FP
120cr per FP on orders 10k and over
120cr per FP on orders for "friends" regardless of size
Guild contract rates vary, including a current offer of 95.5 (cost) for all FP to be used for the express purpose of placing a new Imperial base in Sparta, the city I used to sell FP from. I think of my time spent on that particular sale as more of an investment...

150-200 per point ... start high, negotiate lower as needed.
