Thread: My best slicing streak to date happened last night

I had just finished BH pistols line and had +100 pistol speed, so I decided to go get new pistols.
Now when getting my own weapons, I do like many of you probably do and go to a vendor and buy them 1 at a time slicing each, rather than buying a bbunch and slicing them all.
I buy 1 scatter pistol , get 35% damage slice, 1 FWG5 34% damage, 1 Launcher Pistol 26% damage, 1 Sonic Blaster 28% damage, and 1 Modified republic blaster 30% damage.
This was the nicest little run in a row I have ever had. I was very happy about my good fortune and the amount of credits I saved not having to buy multiples. I was gushing in guildchat about my luck so my bud, who is a speed capped rifleman, decides he wants to cash in on my hot streak. He brings me a brand new T21. 16 speed. LMAO They are a fickle bunch those slicing gods.

I will say no bad of the slicing gods I have seen no streaks, good or bad, since I mastered a year ago!
I have had a gaggle of very happy customers leave with better armor and weapons and a few (thank god a very few) that have been utterly pissed that I ruined thier weapon/armor!

You must have absorbed all the slicing mojo, i had the saddest streak of my SWG life yesterday. Sliced 25T-21's for one guidie, 18 of them for speed (luckily a couple 35% dmg saved me), then sliced 20 power hammers for another and 16 of them were for speed.

Three35% slices out of seven. Two damage, one speed. Too bad that it was on HARs
Five DX2s and it got 34%, 32%, 30%, 31%, 28%. All damage.

My best slice has to be for a Weaponsmith I slice for.
Sliced lots of geo pistols, got a 35% damage amongst others.
They gave me that pistol for free after I'd finished slicing

Regardless, and they mocked me when I told them about the 72-2 encumbrance to effectiveness slice ratio I got a while back.
Something might be up with the random number generator, now and then..

I had a good streak yesterday as well.
I sliced about 18 pieces of composite for a guy and had 14 of them encumberance of which about 10 were above 40% with two 45s.
Well it WOULD have been good had he wanted encumberance but he wanted effectiveness. *sigh*

Funny how that works isn't it.
I did one slicing job for a guy...all speed slices...all above 28% about 5 or 6 guns. Everytime I would just cringe because I thought he wanted damage...turned out he wanted speed...LOL
