Thread: Dont Nerf FD, nerf its benefits?

The only problem i see with the FD system now is the whole BH vs Jedi issue... I dont beleive I ever saw problem posts on this issue before Jedi started acting like little children. So here is an option I offer.
FD mechanics stay the same. No reason to change something that isnt broken.
Change the benefits of FD- that is, If you FD, you loose player rating as if you actually were dead.
- As for BH vs. Jedi, the same applies, and if the Jedi FD, the mission is marked complete, Jedi looses FRS (alot
- this would bring more fun to the BH mission, balance out the FD, and not Nerf smuggler.Furthermoreit penalizes jedi who want to behave unhonorably... which i think makes sense.
- Furthermore, not to punish smugglers, make appropriate corrections to underworld tree so that smugglers loose lessplayer rating upon death and FD, also allow player rating to be purchasable (dont know why you would buy it, but i thinka smuggler should have the option)

Oh man, I can´t tell you how I love this post. My brother has a Bounty Hunter on Chimaera and I watch him sometimes. You really can´t do anything against this disturbing FD. You set ´em on fire, poison them, desease them and do anything you can but then they log out or get an Army of pvp gods which kill you and then they laugh and call you a noob. Please SOE, do something against it. I really like -crovaxian-´s ideas. But unfortunately nothing´s gonna happen again ... like every time :/ We really need that combat revamp to have more fun. I really am about to quit and think about WoW

I like the idea of making FD work, and not nerfing it. I think everyone agrees on this point (read: smugglers), but I feel a lot of the problems have jaded other's judgement, which is why we hear people cry "NERF FD!" My 2 cents.
