Thread: Buying faction with underworld 4.. did something happen with the publish?

Hmm i seem to be having problems.. cannot find the option to buy faction. ANy ideas or anyone seeing the same thing?

1) you need to not be at your max FP

2) they changed the conversation line. I forget what they changed it to. Noticed that the FP faq was just updated. might be in there.

I am "special forces enabled" I still do not see a thing. I am very confused...... I do not see anything in the publish notes about underworld tree being changed or anything.

If you're at your FP cap, you will not get the option to buy FP.


The rebel option says something like "I'd like to help you with your bank account."


The Imperial option says something along the lines of, "'I'd like to discuss an equitable trade."

Man I am no where near it I am a colonel and I have only 270 fp. I do not know what is going on lol

that could be it. used to be that if you had more than 500fp (i think) you couldnt buy any, try selling it off and see if you can buy faction.
if you dont want to sell it off, then i guess youre stuck.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

Try killing some rebels first to get your rebel faction zero, though i am TOTALLY confused as to how you could have positive rebel factiona nd be an Imperial colonel.... but get rid of all of your rebel faction, I am pretty sure that is teh cause.

As an Imperial Colonel, you can still hold +1000 Rebel FP.


Can't do anything with them...but you can hold them...

dont go kill the rebs, sell it off to the recruiter.
its not much but its enough to buy something.
i cant remember what they pay you for selling but its about 250cr for 75fp, something close to that.

you can always hold 1k of each faction if you are neut.
neutral smugglers can buy from either recruiter although the delegate ratio is like 6:1.
actually im not sure you can delegate if you are neutral, but even if you can, why would you?
i dont see any good reason to buy your caps worth if you are neutral.
