Hi,
I have the skills to become a smuggler but I am not sure if there is a point. If you could post reasons to do or don't so I can deside if I will become one or not that would be great!! Thx for your help!!

If you have to ask what the point is, you are not a Smuggler at heart. Especially lately, there's not too much of a point. It's... a lifestyle, not a profession.

It's not about the skills man. There's something more than that to being a Smuggler. It's the profession you hate to love really. You'll know whether you like it before you even finish the tree so I would say just go for it.
Oh yeah, and if we ever get to actually smuggler it will be the greatest thing I could do in this game.

the point of smuggler is:
1. to feign death
2. to slice weapons
3. If you're a pistoleer, you get the bestpistol shots there are in the game
4. to not have to pay a couple hundred bucks if you're searched by a imp
5. selling faction points, if you don't mind getting db'd by some random guy just to make a few thousand
6. slicing mission terminalsso you get extra 25% or so credits when the mission is complete
7. to make spices, which actuallycan save your life, but also sorta suck when compared to...every other buff type
8. to make bubble tanks, gaming tables
9. get a reduction of cost of faction perks (of course if you're imp, you pretty muchhave tobe a human to do any good)
9. to feign death
yes it's that awesome

I almost thought you forgot frog bowls and gaming tables but then I saw it slipped in there.
Maybe you should highlight those though since that seems to be the trend.
Oh, and highlight the absense of SMUGGLING...

I've always felt that it's important to be consistent... even if it means losing all the time.

...went hunting with a bunch of peeps the other day..only knew one..a friend of two years....
...as a TK/Smuggler I volunteered to tank....
...after killing four or so krayts we parted ways due to no loot dropping....
...went to player city with friend to split the tissue and pearls....
...I'm proud when he says laughing "you are such a Master Smuggler".....
...its a state of mind...not just special moves...
...getting away with the 'big score'...
...i fence goods..farm faction...and other stuff most peeps wont...thats ok..its my job...
...I was paid 500k to follow a guy around all day "almost" harrassing him...couldnt really prove it....had my droid named iLUVponies "follow" him...its a state of mind...

Well sure, it tends to focus on the bitter, fuming, isolated, cynical sides of our character, but you can't deny it builds the hell out of those.
