I replied, I agree with you. Seems silly to fight for higher prices...I wouldn't do it. And bragging rights mean nothing to my credit-loving Smuggler.

I agree the actual system feel silly and plain wrong, and "bragging right" mean very little.

An interesting thread
. I can see why it's done as it is; an attemptto balance things out. However, as Zane said, those that "throw" a planet's control would have nothing to gain in doing so anymore; plus it makes sense to have the winning side gaining from it.
I guess the real question is does the balance outweigh the realism/throwing factor?

So, if I want to increase my wealth I join the losing side, buy what I can then switch sides and help the winners lose so I can buy cheap there, switch back and sell what I bought low then high now that the pervious side is winning?
Hmmm...I may, as a neutral,have a place in the GCW afterall!
