i charge 5k per weapon and single armor pieces...I usually make a discount on whole sets of armor for 35k
And I rarely ro never hear complaints about the price....If some moron keeps flaming me about the price, theres always good ´ol /addignore

If someone **edit** at you, they are retarded.
Smugglers charge what they want, when they want, because they want to.
Anyone who expects a set price from a smuggler is a 'tard.
I charge on average 10k per slice as a master.

Charge what you want, if they start complaining charge them more!
We have run a long thread on smuggler pricing you might want to read through. Prices vary depending on server economy, but if you charge 100 creds per %, then you are only robbing yourself. Personally I will go for 200 per % if i am feeling chartiable. If someone greifs are charge more.

5k per item. Bit of banter and negotiation MAY be available for large items. I find it less complicated than a creits per per cent system - if "Chuckle for the Smuggler" teaches us anything, it is that percentages rates confuse folks.... but most can manage their 5 times table
And i NEVER do it free if it is under yaddayadda percent. It used the same resources, i am the same Master. Just not their lucky day!

I charge 250 / % and i do give bad percentages for free but at my discresion. If the customer is an **edit**, they pay for all of them. Containers i charge 2k per and let them know that a non-master will slice them for less or for free but i'm not a non-master. Last time someone complained about the price, i just started slicing for the guy next to them, ignoring his little whines until i was done with the paying customer, then i asked if 250 was ok or no and he of course, said yes. Heheh.

I started charging 15k a slice, double it on a gripe, after starting my sliced weapons and armor shop, ive made more in one day with that then i did in my entire time of public slicing, 15k is about to be pushed up to 20k, far to many people actually payed today

I don't normally make comment's on the forums (think this is my second post) but this is a subject close to my heart.
On chimeara (bad spelling). There are a couple of Master Smuggler's including myself in my guild, and we have agreed to try to up the price to at least 10-15k.
Our reasoning is that ifsomeone haspaid 500k and above for armour, and possibly more than that for weapons. Why is that same person, expecting to pay a pitance that will at most time's double or triple the price of a weapon?
One situation was when i had just become master smuggler (about 3 weeks ago) I sliced 5 Geo pistols for this chap. Lucky day for him as he got over 30% Damage on all 5 of them (2 of which 34% dmg increase), I charged him the usual 5k per item, and he paid me, then he had the cheek to say,"I can sell them for triple the priceI bought them."
So for 25k this person will make possibly in excess of a 1Mil cr.
Do the math, 10k 15k or 20k is still small in comparison to what people can make in one buff.

100% agree, and i think it should be even more when i can sell my own sliced weapons and make back 10000s% over what i could make slicing the same thing for someone else

I've had the ssame question for fees for a long time. I'm not quite master yet,(4-2-4-4) and I'm starting to do public slicies.
How much should I charge?
I see the posts about 5-15k per slice on big servers like Bria and such, but I hvae NEVER seen a master smuggler form Naritus post here.
So How much should I charge, on Naritus, for slices at slicing 2?
Then when i master how much should I charge?

When I was but a young Smuggler I charged the 100cr/% increase price, under 20% is free. I got alot of business back then.
I then moved on to a flatrate fee of 2k/item.
Business has been sparse so I now charge 5k/item, since time is money. Plus people can pay 5k for mind buffs, 10k for health buffs. Why can't I charge 5k for something that is a permament increase till their weapon/armor dies? Yeah.

10k per weapon/peice of armor is my normal fee. Only exceptions I make is free for close friends if not a bulk slice, and 5k for guildies. Only gotten a couple complaints for the 10k charge, got a real curse out from my guild leader when I charged her 125k for slicing a crate of grenades but other than that I've never fought over price. AndI have yet to bargaina price with someone, it's my service and my time why should they decide the cost for it?
