I posted this on te 'big' forum, and was told off. Could I see if i am at least thing right about this....

Ok, here are my numbers after one complete lair solo.

I am level 80 and took a level 78 bol mission.

The lair spawned 6 bol.

Each bol I killed had the purple fly-away text +4099 XP

That broke down to Pistols +4099 and Combat +409 - Doesn't add up to the fly-away but whatever.

After I killed the lair I was shocked to see no purple fly away at all...however it gave Pistols +5000 and Combat +500.

So, for one lair (which didn't take too long) I got Pistols +29594 and Combat +2954.

Now, I am not saying at all I am for this patch - sneaky sh!ts that they are....

But, am I wrong in thinking that those numbers aren't too terribly bad?

I know, I know....if there was anyone to group with I would...maybe I'll bring in my other toon.

Ya know, thats only 34 missions to do the one million points for a master box in an elite combat profession.....

Right?

The numbers arent bad because youre not grouped... the whole thing about people complaining is that when they are grouped xp is dropped drastically.

I totally agree with you on the group thing...

My point is this - how is this going to stop the influx of Jedi? That is what the reason was supposed to be....

I like it. I have never been more comfortable with 42. Thank you. It was my problem number, now I am cured. Always sang 99 bottles of beer on the wall but had to stop at 43. I was just too scared.

Jedi are upset because they have to spend a while grinding solo. The whole thing for them to get 1-2k xp solo at padawan they have to attack a con for a minute or so. They can't just run in and area the lair immediately, so the quickest thing to do was to grind in a group.

Now what use to take a few months to finish grinding will now take upwards of half a year if not more.

Hmmmm, this give me an idea. Often me and friends will go out hunting for loot, or for the hell of it, or whatever. What if we go, and don't group, and purposfully let those who actually need exp outdamage those of us who don't? The mobs will die faster, and they'll still get full exp, right?
