Thread: do you have to be master smuggler to get the best results of a slice now?

i was overlooking the tree and i see the slicing abilities stop at slicing 4 with advanced weapon slicing. i dont care about armor too much but if i can id really like to just get 0400 smuggler and put the rest into merchant. im also a master tailor (odd combo, i know.)
