Thread: Mr. Blackman, have you EVER been in here?

IGN: What kind of message would you give to John Q. Gamer who has been playing the game since launch, sitting around as a Smuggler and looking forward to the combat revamp that’s going to increase the scope of his class? What sort of message would you give him to still stick with the game now that it’s up in the air when that sort of feature, which will enhance his experience, is going to be released?
Blackman: First I’d apologize that we were misleading at all, if that was the case, or if he was misled and had expectations for a Smuggler revamp.
This makes me sadder than anything I've ever seen. This is living proof that Mr. Blackman has NEVER, EVER read ONE post on the smuggler forum. We have been promised a revamp since the game LAUNCHED.

He needs to take a serious look over here. There is a full thread (and numerous player sigs) that have the misleading of the smuggler profession WELL documented. I cannot believe he would say something so completely based in fiction.
That is the most bold-faced, ignorantlie I have ever seen a person workingwith this game give me, and I'm a smuggler, that says a lot.

LOL. Funny Post Veela. Didnt know you posted on the forums. Just noticed your pics on Swgfaces.com a few days ago too.
Oh and thanks alot for adding me and ryoto your sig! How easily we forget those we grouped with during the first few days of the game, and for a long time after that! You friggin Imp!

Hey, as long as you don't actually throw that stun baton at me, I'm all good. I'll be changing my sig in a few days anyway. 
But I only really put people I have been actively talking to and hanging out with on a regular basis as of the last 3 months.

In fact if you go back and read the whole interview from start to finish you will notice he never actually answers any of the questions at all. The way i read it, he hada pre prepped answer that went like this-
"waffle waffle waffle JEDI waffle waffle waffle JEDI REVAMP waffle waffle waffle JEDI waffle waffle waffle JEDI REVAMP more waffle with some extra waffle and just so our players know we are listening JEDI JEDI JEDI JEDI JEDI.
No offence at the Jedi player base meant here,but is the guy obsessed?! I swear every single answer he gives launches into a pre planned advertising drone about Jedi!
Yes Jedi are an itegral part of the game and yes they are a selling point for SOE but i still fail to see to this day why other Iconic star wars professions such as smuggler and bounty hunter are continually ignored in favour of being a cook or a hairdresser!

What they should have done was to make a expansion for Jedi. But oh well to late to go back ... Or is it?!

I wouldn't put it above SOE to completly remove Jedi from the game, box it, and sell it based on that single post.

When have you been on Veela? I seen you maybe 2 or 3 times in the past 3 months online. Although im usually on at night. I havent really be on Scylla THAT much in the past 2-3 weeks, but before that i was grinding out for a few months on there and i rarely saw you. Do you come on during the day, and log off in the afternoon or something? Or am i just on /addignore? :-P

No. No he has not been on the forums. He HATES the forum users. Calling us all whiners. Last question in the interveiw basicly calls us whiners. Forgive me for asking you to fix a game that im pay 15 a month for. What a jackass. He also said that the Jedi revamp has yet to exclude anyone. /lookaround. I don't see any Jedi. I'm not a jedi. I don't want to spend 5 hours a day for a year trying to become one either. So, sorry to break your heartbut looks as if I've been exluded.
