Do people still buy spice now that the Chef's got all the goodies?

How are Smugglers PvP?

Thank you

Yup people still buy Spices, the most popular being Muon Gold and Neutron Pixie. I have also been able to occasionally move Booster Blue on my vendor. I make about a 100k per week in Spice sales which is OK I guess. Most of my income comes from selling resources so this is something I do just as a way of making me feel like im getting some use out of that tree

people do buy spice from time to time, mostly riflemen wanting some muon...

as for PvP, if your not coupled with pistoleer or TKA, your a fly that is easily swatted

Not having a vendor, I sell Muon and Pixie on the Bazzars (along with molecular clamps). If you consider the cost of resources alone, I'm probably making a tidy profit, if you were to factor in the travel costs, factory cost and maitenance etc, then obviosly the profits don't look quite so rosy. I also make a bit of cash from slicing as I pass through each city on my market run.

The time spent going round the bazzars, placing stock and getting resources, placingfactories, etc, could easily be spent more profitably on missions.

Slicing offers far greater oportunity for profit, if you've got a contract with an AS or WS. Slicing for random customers can be fun, but again probably does not return a decent return in terms of time that could be spent doing missions.

For the past wee while,I've seen me max out my bazzar limit, for it all to be sold on a friday and then again on a saturday night, but this weekend has beenrealy slow. I don't know if it's a weather change, or just due to holidays etc.

I think most combat players keep a pixie and/or a gold on their tool bars for emergencies. Gold is usefull as stims can't help mind and pixie can come in handy for those who don't have any medical skills for stims. The impression I get though, is that very few use it as a first choice.

I don't know if there would be anypoint having a dedicated vendor as most people buy it on an occasional or one off basis and I doubt they would travel for it. But then again, maybe it's different on different servers.

As far as PVP goes, smuggler combat skills are next to useless.I'm going for a highbrid template using BH pistols tree and some pistoleer. I'm trying to make Smuggler the centre peice of my template because I like being a smuggler, I don't know how succesful I'll be. I'm hoping to havethe template completed before the weekend, at which point I'm going to try some PvP and see how it goes.Wish me luck...

To sumarise...

No one will get rich selling spice

Smugglers suck at PvP

Smugglers do it for the love of it.
