I can't remember if I posted something like this before... but it occurs to me that since they have stated that we get what basiclly amounts to a /respec of our skill points after the combat revamp - whydon't weALLjust drop smuggler for now and if we don't have confirmation of a revamp post comabt rebalance then... well why bother to go back, as one more delay will make it quite obvious it's not going to happen...
Perhaps it would wake up SOE as to our situation... and it's a rather safe way to protest (don't hurt anyone or the servers or anything...)
Please discuss....
of course I could just be trying to talk all of you into dropping smuggler skills so that I remain the only smuggler in the galaxy bahahahahah!

Yeah I still think if everyone dropped smuggler it would give them an opportunity to remove the profession altogether....I say, more people join the ranks!

for such an option to be able to have some signification would mean that every single smuggler drops, and lots of them are actually not forum activists. So it wouldn't work for this first reason.
There will also be the greedy people who will benefit from the lack of smuggler to win a huge fortune just because they are the last one slicing.
At least, there is the fact that we all are smugglers, and we want this identity to be maintained, that's what we have in common, that's the profession we bought the game for (or we continue play it for).
I'd also rarther quit than drop, but i won't quit now that things are at least beginning to move.

Drop it. It will be the true test. If you are a true smuggler, you'll be back. I am. Follow your heart, or the almighty credit. Whatever suits your style.

Yeah, I'll quit first...and that is starting to look rather likely though I'll give them till after the loot and combat revamp to see what they will do. However if just ONE more thing gets inserted before smuggler revamp I'm out of here I'm afraid.
