I see MANY other proffesions using macros to help with boring skill gain... So here is my question....

Has anyone seen a macro for smugglers that can slice terminals while we sit back and watch.... It should be possible with the ingame Macro commands......


BTW: Where can i go to get the Macro Commands list or a SWG macro tutorial .... I cant find anywhere to find commands for it......

selecting wires is not possible through in-game commands to my knowledge.

The key grasshoppa, to enjoying the macro unfriendly contentis imagination.You must imagine each time the actions in your mind your smug is taking as you click blue or red wire and cleanse yourself of all thoughts such as "OMG thisgrindsucks". Alot of grey gabuki late at night helps too.

Once you slice a terminal, DO THE FRIGGIN MISSION. You need 3+mil pistol xp too dont you? Or do you have a macro for that too?

Man, with the way people whine about grinding some slicing XP you would think they were grinding Droid Engineer or something. Slicing and spice tree are so easy to grind that without a macro anyone with a clue should be able to do both of them in a single day if they are in a rush. I did spices in like a couple of hours and I took my time on the slicing because I actually ENJOYED it

Thats when its no longer is a grind when you learn to enjoy it. And no one can make you enjoy it. They're not gonna add more grphx cause that wont help. People just get used to them and its still a grind. The grinds all in the mind IMO. I like grinding spices simply cause your doing something productive whileloitering in town, theres spam and BS going onto keep you entertained, and who knows what else you run into. At the same time grinding spices I'm sampling resource and the thing that somewhat keeps me awake is trying to go full throttle out 2 xp's at once and not have to buy all the ingredients off the bazaar. I finally bit my lip and purchased wheat and wood in bulk. The med foraging, although i love the graphic and the tetris feel that goes with manuallystacking them, I finally decided was really a flop xp wise. Too bad theres no xp gain in med forage I would be a master by now at something.

Yea, the best part about the spices is how little resources it takes. I went through I-IV on less than 10k resources.. (i think actually less than 5k) Compare that to the hundreds of thousands of resources for droid engineer, or architect.. hehe. I Love Smuggler

only way I could think of doing it would be with a very complicated 3rd party macro program, that would probably take more time to write that it would to just do the clicking, and may get you banned anyway!

I would just do it manually to be honest.
