Thread: Rouge vs. Jedi

I am very close to finishing my new template:
Bounty Hunter Pistols/Investigation 3
Master Pistoleer
Rouge
My question is for any experienced Smugglers out there who have gone the distance with a middle/upper level Jedi - and won. Can it be done? What are some of the best tactics to use? Please don't flame for being a dabbler ... I really love pistols ... and am just trying to build the strongest pistol template in the game. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've never fought a Jedi...
But, my understanding is that any Ranged profession against a Jedi is almost an exercise in futility. More people seem to have success against Jedi as Melee professions...Swords, TKs, etc...
But, as I said, I've never tried...so I'm just repeating what I've heard....

Based on the Smuggler combat skillset, a "pure" smuggler wouldn't have a chance in you know where of killing a Jedi.
I'm sure it's possible, like if the Jedi is AFK, LD, in a fight with another Jedi, or if there was an exploit in the number of bomb droids you could call and detonate. Although, I really can't see how.

Coincidentally though, Rogue squadren WERE Red squadron, maybe Wedge was trying to be continental, and ended up spelling "Rouge" wrong.
Maybe the missspellers are right, heheh.

That reminds me of Pink Five, a valley girl X-Wing pilot, who stars in a couple short videos on AtomFilms.com. If you're going to go check it out, also try the Star Wars Rap. It's actually well done.

From what I've experienced Jedi are pretty much the only prof that the Pistol God template can't kill. Also, beware Dizzy/KD if you PvP with that.
