Thread: Did I hit my 'Silent'

The facts:


  • My character has been around since day 1

I mastered the following profession in this order and did the following things:



  1. Marksman

  2. Scout

  3. Smuggler

  4. Pistoleer

  5. I opened up my 1st holo in April 04 and it said "Entertainer"

  6. TK

  7. Entertainer (Mastered on 7-13-04 --- took me 4 days to do it all)

  8. I opened up my 2nd holo early this morning and it was SILENT

There's no official word that all holos after Pub 9 give the same "Silent" response.


Do you guys think I REALLY hit my "Silent" holo or do you think that all holos give silent and I'm most likely, light years away from FSS?


Enlighten me!

All holos have gone silent. I know of several people who've had the same thing happen.

No word from the Devs on this?

I believe that all holos have gone silent as well .... but at least I know I got one more "official" profession for my character out of the way before Pub 10.

Only masteries I have ever attained are those I currently hold: Master Smuggler, Master Pistoleer, TKM.


My holos are now all quite silent.


Unless they lowered the prereqs for FS to 4 (they didnt) and I am a reeeely lucky guy (I'm not), I think this shows the Holos have been "switched off".

just out of curiosity.. where do you find/loot holocrons? and don't worry, going FS is the LAST thing on my mind atm..

One way place you're likely to get them is the weapons research facility. I've never looted holocrons before, never having the ability to take on those that give them out, but since I mastered TKA, I was able to solo the facility. I looted one normal Holocron and two Sith Holocrons
