Figures.... I was always wondering what kind of cool stuff was in those locked containers!

Probably a CDEF Pistol, a head wrap, and a handful of credits.
I'm a master smuggler and I've never been able to slice those. Always gotten the same message. That, and I don't think anyone's ever opened one before. Just broke I guess.

You're not supposed to be able to open them until the system says it's ok. No slicing required. This was the solution to stop people from afk camping in caves.

True. Non-sliceable mag seals is something that we've reported since they first appeared in beta. I know, because I turned in my share of tickets on them too.
Hopefully we can eventually get this fixed.

"This was the solution to stop people from afk camping in caves."
Please explain this to me. How does this stop them?
It might slow them down (they have to wait for the timer) but it does not stop them on the ones that cycle.

I'm pretty new to the smuggler ranks and have one quick question. I've been tooling around in POI dungeons and have noticed that I never get to slice any locked Magseal containers. I get the radial menu option to Slice, but it always tells me that the lock is broken and cannot be used.
Am I doing something wrong or do I just have extremely bad luck?
I currently have slicing 2.
Thanks!

According to the post titled "Ok, problems and solutions. No time to waste! " by Smuggler Calyin one of the problems she solutions she noted was allowing Magseal contaienrs to b sliceable. This leads me to think that they currently are unslicable.
Not positive but thats what I gather.

you may not understand why it would stop them..but it has. you might see only 2-3 people trying to camp a magseal/loot pile these days

Also, magseals are not slicable at all. They are on a timer. The only way to get into them is to either wait for them to unlock or catch them when they are.
