Last night I was trying to make a macro to pull Pikets from their lairs so's I could gank them one at a time but for whatever reason the "attack" macros would not work, only the posture ones would.
This is the macro I was using:
/prone
/pause 02
/healthshot2
/healthshot1
/stand
Pretty simple. But Tevin would just lie down and stand up again. Now when I TYPED /healthshot2 in the spacial- Tevin would attack.
Also, my old macros (with healthshot1 and healthshot2 in them) would still work.
Weird.
Anyone have this trouble?
I'm beginning to wonder if macros have been nerfed.

Your attacks get stuck in the combat queue while your posture change takes effect immediately. Try putting a /pause 1 (or more) after each shot.
You might also want to put in a /peace before you stand. I'm not a fan of macroing combat, so I do everything manually, but this is what I do.
/prone;
/healthshot2; (spam and watch for the bleed indicator to appear)
/peace; (actually control-\)
/stand;
run back to about 70-80m.

Healthshot 1 and 2 no longer stack. Only one at a time... so if you're wanting to wait for them to tick away from the bleed... the hs1 replaces the hs2. I just spam hs2 when I do pve... shoots once a second for 800-1800 damage normally.

Really????
I've been hunting Gakle bats on Yavin, and I'll hit them with both and watch 2 ticks every 10 sec or so...one high tick one low tick...If they don't stack this shouldn't be happening should it??? Maybe I missed something somewhere, I knew they changed bleeds, but I thought the stacking was only if you tried stacking multiples of the same one (i.e. spamming healthshot 1 3 times to increase the effect). Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I know what I'm seeing IG, and it doesn't coincide with what you posted.

Unless I'm completely out of it, the bleed is almost completely worthless and only useful for pulling a single mob out of the group. Oh, how I miss those 1400 per tick bleeds!

I had both in order to stack but have never noticed a double tick. I was just doing it as habit more than anything. 'Can't think of any other bleeds I can drop.
Here is what I normally do without macros:
get just within range
go prone
type: /stand
(toolbar)healthshot1
(toolbar)healthshot2
hit peace in combat window
hit enter
run back 'bout 80m
switch to curve sword (I'm grinding Master Swordsman)
(toolbar) COB- as the beast comes running at me.
(toolbar) 2handhit 2
(toolbar) intimidate
(toolbar) warcry
(toolbar) 2handhit 2
(toolbar) healself
Then I freestyle from here out.
Now you can see how a nice macro could sweeten this lil' scenario quite a bit. BUt when it comes to putting those damn combat moves in there they won't work. I tried pausing and everything. I don't know what's up!

If you do see them stack, I do not believe they are sapose to.
Old bleeds use to hit for +1000 a hit, but no damage when fired.
Now they do damage when fired, and basically no hit when the tick hits.
In the time it takes to fire HS1 and HS2, I can fire HS2 for twice as much damage...
In the time it takes me to wait for HS1 and HS2 to do a tick, I could have fired multiple more times and done even more damage.
HS1 is just a useless attack if you have HS2.
And about spamming the same move and it doing ticks for each shot... I've been around since launch and never noticed that happening. When you hit a target with a bleed, it cancels the previous bleed and starts a new one. So if I hit a bat with a 800 tick bleed, then a 900, the 900 will stick and not the 800.

remember that a marco is case-sensitive
so /healthshot1; wouldnt work
but /healthShot1; will work

Put in longer pauses and/or watch the combat spam window. I'll bet you're missing with your first shot and the macro is hitting peace and standing you up. In my opinion it's not worth macroing combat because we miss so much.
