lets see, after a year of waiting patiently and being told were getting a revamp wich is great, we still are being pushed back for the more important professions such as the all important and rare jedi. (hey i dont question you guys tryin to make that part of the game better, i look forward to it.)

but in the mean time were told to hold off on the smugglers, you dont have time for it basically. BUTi do notice you have the time in the most recent patch to make us have to pull items out of our crates to slice with??for the average smuggler who does a few here and there, one could say whats the big deal?I happen to have customers who request slices by the hundreds (weapon smiths and what not) do you realize that adding those few steps in adds up over the course of sitting through 1k slices that already takes hours and hours?

my point is do you have an explanation as to WHY you have time to make the smuggler proffession worse right now? why cant all this wait as well when you have the time to do it the right way?is it because you dont like that i can slice a thousandweapons a day?does that throw out swg economy?maybe im byast, because ive been a smuggler from the start, i enjoy the profession even as it is, i look forward to the changes, but i really find it disheartening to see patches where we get downed even more as it is without even explaining what the purpose is?(as your quote above shows)

thismakes no sense to change to me. why couldnt you guys fix the slicing knives crate instead? do smugglers really need to be handicapped in their slicing as well as their combat? it sounds like that is what you want.

in the meantime i will just be clicking away that much more, because thats my job, but i sure would like an explanation at least as to why you felt THIS was so importantyou had to make time for such a change for smugglers, when your so busy with everything else.

Hear hear. What is the point of this? Were smugglers complaining that it was too easy to use our tools straight from our crates? Or was is our customers that said it doesn't take a long enough time to slice their weapons/armor?

As for myself,I only slice when waiting for shuttles or I'm bored and want something to do. I always carry tools in case someone needs a quick slice, but rarely have room in my inventory for more than a few slices as it is. Now I need even more room. Luckilly I got in contact with a droid engineer to make me a storage droid that I now desperately need. Thanks for the much needed update.

Its just cuz we are too Uber fast with our slices, I mean we could bring all classes to their knees with our uber fast lightning quick slices and laser knives that comeout of the crate wrong. Then again thats prob why the did it they couldnt fix the crates so they did this to us.

ok my bad, they actually didnt do what the strange quote said, i have tested it. everything seems to work the same, AND the molec clamps as well.. so i just misunderstood the patch message.
