I was master smuggler a while back and just redid the slicing col after reboot. I then decided to slice my grinding comp armor and noticed that each time i selected "Slice" it also brought up the set color screen. Is this a new function as of today? I know it was not like this back in Februrary when we first got to set colors ourselves...

Heh. I'm superstitious about that screen. I won't close it until I sliced the piece. And I won't slice the next one with it up. Yeah. It's not new.

I don't know, but it will be a fun bug. If indeed this does happen, every smug unite and slice peoples armors and change the colors to PINK. MWAHAHAHAAHA (just kidding)

It's a pretty old change.

It's really annoying though. It's not slicing specific, any player can do it.

When you do bulk jobs of armor slicing... you have to close a gajillion windows.

I think that ever since the "set color"option was added for composite, thatchoosing the slice optionhas always caused the "set color" window to pop up as well.

The reason this happens, is because both the "set color" option for composite, and the slice option, occupy the same spot on the item radial menu (option 5).

When I have to slice a bunch of composite, I usually finish slicing all the armor first, then I click to close all the set color windows.

Yeah, i just read the smuggler revamp doc since this time i'm not holo grinding. I'm coming back, second holo was smuggler and i liked it a lot. So now i'm going to be a full time smuggler and saw on that page that this bug is mentioned in the revamp ideas...it is very annoying though. I remember the comp armor color change thing from when they messed with the colors and everybody got white armor. So to fix it they let us set our own colors. I kind of like it but am curious if they still plan to take it out. It was supposed to be gone in March...

yeah that is the funny part, this bug has been that way for a long time now and they still havent fixed it. how easy would it be to change the slice box to number 6 instead of 5 so this wont happen anymore.

Yeah.....

Can't get the change color option, so I just pick Slice instead.

Theres one way to get your clitent mad at'cha . Change the color schem of the armor if they piss ya off . Dose this work ?

hehe yeah it does work.. i wait til my friends put on their armor then i turn it pink lol... some people for some odd reason forget you can change the color themself.. so they get mad at the game and bugs and how their black armor turned pink after they got it sliced rofl....

mwa ha ha ha ha i don't know of a smuggler that hasn't turned a customer order pink because of that bug. i change the colors at times to keep my place when slicing so i don't forget anything, which i guess is kinda helpful but it's more annoying than anything else.
