Well it seems like no huge issue for me but I am new to smuggler and came from being a master doc which has larger inventory issues.
Nothing gets used there unless it is out of crates and in main inventory by default. Not even in a satchel in the main inventory.
Along with carrying 40+ medical items lol
Wound packs for each stat of two different strengths, buff packs for each stat, state heals for all four states, fire blankes, cure disease, cure poison not to mention bivoli (and other foods) and stims. Include that enough for backups if many of those and you are full once you add weapons lol
I actually have space now YAY
So but I am glad the knives issue is being addressed

I have high hopes that with Caylin's help and the smuggler community we'll get the best possible revamp. I plan on coming back to smuggler when that happens. But I'm sick of holding onto a profession that keeps getting borked. I just don't understand why something simple like the skill box text couldn't be fixed, and they would push the knife crate issue to the front in a half**edit**ed way. Just seems to me like a little bit more effort could've made this patch a ray of hope for us instead of a kick in the balls. I don't plan on picking up CM or Rifleman, but I'm going to find something fun to do rather than sit and endure more disappointment.

How about Bounty Hunter?
Hmmmm. I don't know what profession out there is totally cool (I mean besides Smuggler).
I supposed if you just wanted to kick some PvE ass I would suggest Swordsman.

You know, I haven't been active on the smuggler forums, just a lurker really. I've been a smuggler since I started playing the game six months ago, and have been patiently awaiting our dev love. I was a triple master for a long time, trying to have fun playing the game and doing the themeparks and quests. All this time the only thing the devs have done is nerf us. Panic shot, stealth spice nerf, delaying our revamp over and over and over.
After all of this, instead of fix something, ANYTHING more important, they decide to focus their patch 9 efforts on the knives in crates problem. Aside from the fact that they've only made the situation worse, and I have a sinking feeling that it will be the last thing hotfixed, why the crate problem? Why not just fix the skill box text, or if they're so focused on their precious jedi they could give us the new spice...
I just feel ignored, this Patch in general is the last straw for meas asmuggler. I'm dropping it to do something more fun until it gets fixed. Anyone else feel like after all of what we've suffered though the devs could've put a little more effort into something for us this patch and thrown us a bone? If they'd at elast told us this crate fix was coming we could've gotten on TC and worked out the bugs.

Nah, I don't feel too screwed at the moment.
I mean, this patch AND the next one will be for Jedi- They have said that for a while now, so I accept it. I understand that a majority of the playerbase is plugging away at Jedi and thus the reason they are so hot to get it working right.
I also hope they know that this is IT. They better get it right now because another announcement like: "We are going to push back the Combat Balance publish in order to fix Jedi- blah blah blah" is going to cause MAJOR problems.
But beyond all that-
We got one of the (If not THE) best Devs working with us DIRECTLY to make smuggler what we want/expect it to be- There are other professions that would kill for that- Commandoes, Bounty Hunters, Rangers, Pistoleers- to name a few.
So, NO. I am not pissed beyond measure at the moment-
It could change though-

I was informed of the knives issue being sent to QA in the first couple days of April. It took them a while to get this attempt in, as you can see.
I have a feeling it wasn't ment to appease us, but they did try to fix a problem for us. I look for appeasement when I read posts by GM and those discussion threads.
