Thread: How we can save our profession once and for all

Like a thunderbolt from the blue it hit me. It seems that all the planets must be in their proper alignments because the only salvation for our profession just came to me. Now it may sound far-fetched to begin with, and a lot of it runs on the odds and the Slicing Gods to look down on us kindly, but here it is:
Step 1: Get an Operative in Vegas
I know Veela's there this weekend and we have at least one other Smuggler in Lost Wages. You two, your job is simple. Take the casinos for all they have then report back to the East Coast. And Veela, grap your cousin while you're at it.
Step 2: Commandeer a Ship
djlowballer, I'm talking to you. LB's works on a tour boat. I assume fishing or a daytripper. djlowballer sneaks down to the docks and grabs his boat of employment and sails it out to International waters.
Step 3: The Canadian Connection
Tomo, as the Pilot cor and a regular Smuggler, we need you to get your hands on a seaplane. Any model will do. Once you have it, you head North, assuming you're not there already. Make arrangements with Saarek to land near a lake or open body of water near his location and pick him up. Any other of you Canadian Smugglers, please coordinate with Tomo and Saarek. Heck, Keck you're in Michigan, perhaps you know a good way to cross the border. In fact, I put "The Neck" in charge of the Mid West cabal. Anyone in that area, please report to maxtheusher for instructions.
Step 4 and 5: The Smuggler's Triangle
NYC Smugglers such as myself and Gany shall make arrangements to meet up with djlowballer in his stolen vessel. The New York Smugglers will provide provisions for a long sea voyage (I'm assuming Brooklyn lager and NYC pizza pies). We're bound for England! We'll grab Wes and our other Brit Smugglers off the western coast. Other European players, please make arrangements to travel to England. If, due to recent events, there are problems with travel visas, we canarrange pick you up in Ireland or on the coast of France.
Once we're done with England, we'll cross the Atlantic again and stop off the coast of Georgia. Angus, get your banned butt down to the water 'cause we're picking you up.
Step 6: The Run
We're now on the SE coast of the U.S and there are many of you who I'm not sure of your locations, so we need to meet up somewhere. Miami is a possibility, but unless we're all packing blasters, we might want to swing around the Florida panhandle and meet up in New Orleans. That way Zombie_Arsani will fit in fine.
Step 7: High Seas, Baby!
With the winnings from the Vegas casinos, we high-tail it down to the Caribbean and purchase an island. Once there, we set up shop and drink cold beer and eat hot pies in the tropical sun until we get Smuggler missions in place.
So I'm the idea man here. What can you offer to Operation: Smuggling in The Sun? We need info to make the arrangements flow.

I'm from Texas so I guess I'll bring the guns. I've got enough for all those Continental guys where they're a bit harder to come by.

we'll need Beer, lots and lots of Beer.... and i'm not talking your regular US style suds.. i'm talking Pure Canadian Beer.. the stuff of Legend(ary hangovers). Saarek, Tomo, think we can get a seaplane big enough?

You guys should make a detour to germany to pick up some of the good stuff while you are over around Europe.

Melons man! Melons! You forgot the melon LTZ!!! I am of no use on that front being in Maine, but I can head up to Canada and catch Saarek and Tomo on the seaplane. Don't forget we need t opick up some cheap prescriptions (aka spices) in Canada to bring with us. I'll bring the LL Bean backpacks....

While I'm all for the cold, fruity, alcaholic drinks while lying in the sun Lost stylie, do you think some of the Vegas money could be used to "persuade" certain management personel in SOE that a really good Smuggling system is what's needed next?

Thats why we take them to the cleaners in the gambling portion, then Later that night rob them!

How about we alter the plan? Instead of heading for the Caribean, we go through the Gulf of Mexico and eventually get through to Austin, where we raid SOE's office building and make the Decision Makers walk the plank, from the top of the building.

Hmm.. Nebraska is a long way from anywhere, but I have some contacts in New Orleans that can help with a bigger boat, I bet...
As for money, Vegas ain't the way, we need something better... something big...
