Always when people took hope in the posts of a Dev, the concepts posted, the promise of Soon(tm) you were there with your world weary, jaded attitude, warning folk to not believe it. People may have said that you were pesimistic, raining on the parade, and grump, coming down on us for having a good time in this forum.
Well I can say with some certainty that with this new fiasco...'Oh I didn't say you're being postponed, I just said we're doing other stuff first instead' that others have been pushed over the edge, and see the light now. In another post someone said 'A red name! This gives me hope!' and all I could think was 'Why? Why does it give you hope? It means nothing, they will just spin and lie and leave us waiting for the next blow'
So now stripped of the blinders of hopeful optimism, we will try our best to take your place as you leave here for a better place. Where doesn't matter, almost anywheres a better place. We will be ready with the 'Don't get your hopes up's 'I'll believe it when I see it's and the 'I told you so's
You'll be missed.
You were right.

SpinningCloud will be missed, but at least he can enjoy the knowledge that he was right all this time. Probably one of the very few who saw it like it is.

I said the same thing when I saw that person say they had hope. A red name usually brings more severe loss of hope more often then not. For some reason people get a googley when they see a red name post. It makes no sense.
I can count on one hand the number of times a red name has posted something worth inspiring hope. Most were by GM, and one was that our "suck ass" tm revamp was being delayed. That is not a good track record for even hopeful posts, nevermind the several digits worth of hope-dashing red name posts.
Ridiculous.
