Due to situations beyond my control I have been off line for about 7 months.. so a few quesations if somone has the time to answer..

1. How does a smuggler change faction?

2. I currenty have 2 in underworld so am I able to do this?

3. I notice there is a new load screen with information about the Empire scanning for spice or sliced goods.. is this actually happening?

1 and 2) You need to get another smuggler to buy you faction, you can only buy if you have less than 500 points so the other smuggler buys some, transfers it to you and repeats (a lot). And expect it to cost, the last 4 promotions for me cost 2.6mill credits (thats about 22k fp).

3) Yes, but it doesn't happen that often (or maybe I'm just lucky). As a smuggler you have a chance to avoid the scan with a better chance the higher up the underworld tree (IIRC) you go. If your a high ranking imperial you wont even get scanned.

If you do get scanned and they find stuff (which they don't always) then you get teffed if your a Rebel or (I'm told) fined if your neutral. Lower ranking Imperials (I think) get fined fp..
