Someone was telling me that the luck skill tree for smugglers will increase the chances of getting a better slice. Is there any truth to that?

Oh dear lord...


The Heightened Senses: Luck only affects looting. It increases the amount of credits you loot and increases the probability that you might get some other kind of good loot.


It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Slicing...


We can hope and pray and speculate all we want...but them's the breaks.


Move along now...nothing to see here...

I think we may need to announce this and dispel the rumor. I have heard of smugglers on varying servers using this in their advertisement macro to increase their business.

Probably too late for that. Anything we (the honest Smugglers) say will just turn into an "us" against "them" (dishonest or uninformed Smugglers) debate.


It will take a Dev post to put this to rest. Anybody want to lay odds on that happening?

Yeah, me and my friend on Bria are seeing Master Smugglers advertising that they are force sensitive. LOL!

As I was grinding out the last of my persuasion xps near the village on Radiant, another smuggler who-will-not-be-named told me he couldn't wait for phase 2 to get luck so that he could get better slices.

Rather then argue, I just /nod'ed and kept on going about my business.
