What weapons can smugglers use after taking novice smuggler? I know rifleman and pistoleer have "hidden" weapon certs, wondering if smugglers are the same.

Sure we have some hidden. They are so well hidden that most people don't notice they are there. To find them you just have to take up pistoleer, bounty hunter or commando.

My prime weapon is a Geo Sonic Pistol, cept I had to unhide the cert by going 0020 in Pistoleer Most Master Smugglers are some other combat profession as well, a lot are TKMs (vibroknucklers) or Pistoleers (geo pistols or DX2s).

I'm Master Smuggler, Master Tailor, Pistoleer 0040. My weapons are DX2, Geo Pistol, Modified Republic Blaster, and FWG5. Depending on my mood and my target.

Lol thanks for the info folks, very helpful. Maybe they'll adjust that and give smugglers better weapons

Maybe someday we'll get a unique smuggler only weapon. However, as it stands now, due to the pre-reqs, we in effect have most pistols, and are one step away from vibro knucklers and launcher pistols.

I had a krayt enhanced DL-44. It really made me feel like a smuggler and it did some ok damage to heh. I think it's stats were something like 1.2 speed and 214 max damage without pup. I really miss that gun

yaitch.. my gun is 1.1 and does 276 max.. i sliced it a year back.. bought it for 15k i belive it was a 44% slice

I have BH 3040 and Pistoleer 0030 and I use scatter and Featherweigt FWG5s. Don't have a Geo yet and doubt I'd spend the money on a good enough one.

What I'd LIKE to see is for the cert for Scatter to be in the Smuggler Pistol branch...even if it's at the top. I like that weapon and it seems very smuggler-like to me.

On the other hand maybe some type of homing-vibro-flechette gun would be fun! One way or the other smugglers need their own weapon!
