anyone know about this? saw a pic of it but it didnt state where it came from. its a pistol that apparently needs 3000 from smuggler.

It's from an NPC in the Dead Forest on Kash. He's not far from the entrance on the right if your facing into the forest from the zone point.

Sorry about that, forgot to mention it takes a while for it to drop. I think I was there for an hour or so killing that guy before one dropped for me. The tomes and other stuff do make some interesting house decorations if your into that sort of thing.

got it, lol go figure 2hrs of killing and nothing. goto the supermarket to get some Dr. Pepper and bam first kill on return and i get it. Dr. Pepper must be lucky. anywho...Live fire Exercise!
