Thread: need help makeing up my mind

well master smugglers i need some help i been a master smuggler now for some time mixed with master tk playing around with other combat profs is waht i have in mind just dont know what i want to go along side my smuggler
smuggler / master bh<---- at the time of this post this is what i am and im not sure i am happy with it
smuggler / master pistol
smuggler/ master commando
smuggler / ?

OK, forgive all, but as a visiting MCommando - I thought I'd try and help out...the only template I feel qualified to comment on is smuggler / master commando
my views...
its a great choice for crowd control - with the inbuilt specials (blind/ fire/ AoE) with commando weapons, the smuggler specials seem to come into thier own.. AoE confusion shot anyone?.
With the last patch, it APPEARS (not tested) that commando AoE damage has been 'fixed', so we might be a little better in terms of DPS also.
HOWEVER
you will need to invest in pikkatta pie and other defense foods - from personal experience, duelist stance (MBH) is superb for tanking and MS templates are a little light on defenses.
The other thing to think about is your 'routine' best attack - -from what Ive read, legshot and advanced critical shot are the best to date - the pistol body shot lags slightly behind these two so far.
so..after rambling on...
my view is the commando and smuggler PERFECTLY compliment each other - -isnt the definition of crowd control area of effect? - -commando has these built in....
