then you could smuggle err something i guess..... modify weapons.... and then say about your ship, "I made a few special modifcations myself."

I'd seen a post about a Solo-template some time ago, before the JtL. 
It was kinda cool. Had dirty fighting, and slicing, and some of the pistoleer tree, and a buncha other stuff. Some carbines, I think, because he didn't always use pistols.

i couldnt get the template out of my head all day.. yeah it was a long boring day at work.. but it actually sounds so darn fun, you'd have so much to do... but then i thought what would i kill and how would I satisfy my unquenchable thirst for death and destruction

Hey and if you had that template you'd be qualified for Pilot Correspondent too

I was this template before the CU but I ended up having to surrender Master smug and I went Master pistoleer/Rogue/master shipwright instead because it was better for survival during harvester runs but now a Master Smug/Master Shipwright/pistoleer can survive hostile enviorments as well or better than MP so I recerted for MS/MSW for good. Plus I can go join groups and shoot em up, have endless modification options for my own ship in between selling spice, ship components, and sliced pistols I buy off of public bazaars to resell for more after slice. Its a great fun template for someone who likes a mixture of crafting and pistols- shooting or slanging them. but I'm WAY uglier than Han to be a wannabe of him especially now with cybernetic arm.

Yeah.. the best damn smuggler in the galaxy, evidently! You BH/pistoleer/commando/whatever smugglers got nothing on me and Han.
