Smuggler Archive

Well my fellow brethren of smuggling I bid you all well and hope you continue fighting the good fight. I am done with Smuggler. I have waited for the better part of 2 years for Smuggler to be worthwhile. I was overjoyed with the CU in the respect that we finally got something in the Master box, I really was. Combat capable and PvP template skills that were more than adequate.

Then I made some slices and decided the inefeectiveness we now have as damage/speed increasers is gone. 4% as a Master is BS. I hold no ill will against the Weaponsmiths for making weapons near the cap, it is their job and they are doing it well. This is the development team once again attempting to pre-empt game breaking weapons by getting rid of slicing. The funny thing is that they actually believe this will work. Smugglers lose a way to make money because it just isn't worth getting a weapon sliced. Armor? Right, 2-4 million a set and people will buy something that decays faster by a junk slice. Nope, not like the old days of suit slices.

Add in the fact that people are already calling for the Nerf bat to swing away on Last Ditch, which they will do mark my words, it is not something I wish to endure anymore.

I do thank all of you that have been trying to make the Smuggler profession better. You are model examples of what it is to be enduring no matter what is thrown at you, which as a Smuggler isn't much. I applaude your efforts and wish you well.

Would be more detailed but I am still pissed about this whole thing. And for anyone calling for a nerf on Smugglers, you are the prime example of what is wrong with this game. Last Ditch isn't game breaking, Jedi getting hit by 100 laser blasts, without armor,and not dying is game breaking.
