Thread: I think Greedo was just Feigning Death!!!!!

I think he got up and walked off after Han left the cantina!!!! :smileyvery-happy.
I know he was BH but I was watching it last night and wonder if he might be a one of the new BH/Smuggler dabblers.

Greedo wasn't FDing... first of all, he wasn't a Smuggler, second of all, he was barely a Novice Marksman. Not even a real BH yet. I mean, c'mon he was using a D18!

Nah...the bartender had Greedo's body taken to the basement...where he extracted some kind of chemical from the skin or the blood or something and concocted some special drink as part of a contest for Jabba or something...but he never got to deliver it for some reason...
At any rate, Greedo was definitely dead...one way or the other...

Greedo wasn't a Bounty Hunter.
First of all, no BH would miss at that range - but then again, no BH would just saunter in and sit down across from his mark, he'd ambush him on his own terms.
Greedo was a common thug - the kind the Mob sends out with a baseball bat to break your kneecaps when you owe the crimelord some money. He was not a hit man, he was not a smuggler, he was an overconfident idiot... with a lousy type of pistol to boot.
And keep this in mind - why would a Bounty Hunter have been looking for Han at the time? Jabba hadn't put a bounty on him yet - that didn't happen until Empire. Remember this line:
JABBA: "If you disappoint me again, I'll put a price on your head so large you won't be able to go near a civilized system for the rest of your short life."
Said after Han has fried Greedo. So Greedo's little line about Jabba's bounty was a bluff - Jabba hadn't set one yet.

Yup, Han shot first and Greedo wasn't a real Bounty Hunter. Just an annoying little thug wannabe bounty hunter

I'm sorry but this is a funny post. If Greedo were a smug he was taking out the competition and getting paid. I doubt he was a BH, just a connected opportunist.
If Greedo shot first (and hit) I wonder if Chewbaca would've avenged Solo's death or joined up with Greedo as his partner. This of how the series would've been like then. Imagine the kiss with Leia then...okay LMAO just kidding.
