Hi there. I'm Eponyx from the Bria server and I will soon be joining the Smugglers! I just need to get 35k in Pistol 4 and then unarmed tree 
. Still a bit to go, but I hope to have it done within a month. Seeing how fast I got pistol (about 5 days and I got up to P4, hoping to finish P4 today.) I came back to SWG just to be a smuggler! They look and seem to be really fun! I enjoy reading the "A Chuckle for a Smuggler" post, it gets better and better! I would be very appreciative to any tips/advice about getting my unarmed/pistol exp and smuggler tree exp.

One thing that bothers me is that the "Master Smuggler" title only comes with25% faction thingy. Is that it? If so, they should add (maybe) some slicing mods or spice recipies. Cause just +25% faction thing isnt really good for the non-PvPer.

/agreewith Tieler abouthuntingQuenkers on Dantooine. I levelled up well quick this way on both unarmed and pistols.
You'll make the 10k for the buffs back in two missions easy if you are soloing.
(P.S. Master Smuggler gives you an additional slicing bonus. Read the stickies for more info)

Being a smuggler is fun despite the fact that we dont really smuggle anything. Smuggler has a number of good thing from the dirty figting line to the ability to slice weapons. Have fun being a smuggler.
On advice for getting xp.. looks like you know how to get pistol xp so for unarmed xp I would level the first 3 levels of unarmed by just running missions out of whatever starter planet you call home (corillia, naboo, or tat). Then once you are at level 3 go get a buff for 10k and go do quenker missions on dantoine for the duration of your buff. Make sure to buy a vk and maybe get some armor and brandy if you have money.

Hang in there, and best of luck to you! You have selected to join the greatest collection of scoundrels that the galaxies have ever known. 
We may not have much going for us for game content, but this is one of the greatest professions one can ever be. If you want to have fun, RP, or just be that cool cat rogue hangin around all the time... Smuggler is the only choice. We're a cut above the rest...

I lvl'd up killing useless pathetic rebel scum.
this was not only easy ... but profitable for me to lvl up rank for selling faction. I recomend this.
if your gonna be a smuggler, .... be a smart one !!
lvling up 2 areas at the same time is the way to go. You can always feign if soem idiot overt jumps you till your TEF wears off ... OR wait for him/her to try and damge you with DOT's and when their mind is low jump back up :
