Guys, how about this: smugglers are able to slice ship components. Might seem like a bad idea to some of you, BUT in episode IV han says something like: "I made a lot of special modifications myself" to luke about the falcon.

I've always wanted to see this.
Smugglers should really be able to modify their POB ships (starfighters too, but have more modifications available for POB). More then just slicing components. Things like adding a third "illegal" front-mounted weapon and things like that.
