Thread: Adv Reckless shot Good/bad?
I love it. Great damage output. I mix it in with my quickdraw from Pistoleer.

Agreed, and with Pistoleer in me I can use Body Hit and Quickdraw instead. But as a MSmugg/MCommando Adv Reckless will probably be your highest damage (except Last Ditch hehe) special.

Adv Reckless shot is something I don't even bother to put on my toolbar because it plain sucks. It does less damage than adv critical, about the same as torso shot (which has a bleed as well, and doesn't nerf your defense) and a tad more than the body shot from novice pistoleer. I use those three instead since I have them all and they don't mess with my defense.
Crappy design decision to have an adv version of a shot mess with your defense.

Hmmm, with MSmuggler and MCommando, there should be some room for Pistoleer, if I'm not mistaken, you could try to get body shot. But don't have the calculator here atm.

Same here, Adv. Reckless shot is about as useful as a screendoor on a submarine. The only conceivable use might be in a group where someone else is tanking and you aren't taking any shots, and even then I don't think it's worth it.
Personally, I'm not happy with Low Blow either... I guess I just miss the knockdown effect. ![]()

Yes but you sacrifice healing. I prefer sticking with basic shots like kip up for added defense vs dmg.

or if you want to be able to heal your self (just incase) Master Smuggler/Commando/xx2x medic is good too....just get +25 Healing Efficiency CA/AA's to help increase your healing amount. I know that as xx3x medic with 25 Healing Efficiency you can heal for close to 1K.

I duel everyone in my squad waiting for the crowd control and when it hits I come up to the group and area attack and unconcuss them all and end duels. They then have 40 seconds to kill crowd control. As a crowd control with little healing you are dead meat.
