I plan on triple mastering, but on the way there...something interesting happened.
I ended up making so much slice knives and whatnot...that I ended up getting to the whole first line of artisan and 3 boxes of business. I was thinking...hmmm....now that I'm finished with slice and spice xp.....I'd like to help out. Growing up, I always ran out of supplies and my xp grind would come to a screeching hault. No clamps...no WUKs, no AUKs...what's a smuggler to do. Luckily, a retiring smuggler handed me all his smuggling tools. SO...I decided to help the upcoming smugglers. Just south of Coronet on Scylla, my brother and his co-workers own a lil shop (T9F) and sell armor and clothing. I crafted my way to business III and threw ina vendorfor Smuggling Tools andSpices. I then got my hands on two factories. One for clamps, and one for spices. I gathered the resources and threw em into the factories.
I now have a smuggling shop, just south of coronet (the busy place on Scylla). Easy access, and anyone can buy all the WUKs, AUKs, Precision Laser Knives, and Moluecular Clamps they want.
I make so much money from that lil shop, that I'm able to keep a contiuous supply of smuggling tools and spices on my vendor. Within a day, I had so much traffic, I ended up getting a ton of merchant xp (without even knowing it). I decided to craft to business IV. Qualified, trained, and bam..qualified for novice merchant. Cool! So now I have two vendors, one for smuggling tools, and one for spices. I was already capped in merchant xp into the first half box of the next merchant skill box, as well. I'd probably be into a third box by now if I would have trained earlier.
How much money? I went away for one hour to watch a movie, and came back 120,000 credits richer. You people may go out doing missions for far more..but hey...I'm a smuggler that doesn't combat at the moment...and made 120,000 while watching a movie. Not too shabby. I make credits, they get supplies, everyone wins, and everyone's happy.
Now it's a pretty popular place. Need any spice? You can buy 'em by the crate at Logante's place. Need some tools? All you can eat buffet right there at Logante's place.
All of it within walking distance of the most populated town.
Hooray!
Moral of the (true) story is...don't be locked into your final template. Have some fun on the way there. Sure, I'll eventually have to close shop to master smuggler/pistoleer/tka, but I get to make some side cash, while helping out so many other people....all on the way to mastering all three. Have fun! Roleplay! Stop grinding everyonce in awhile and just settle in.
Hope y'all enjoyed reading.

That's a great story, but I have the counter problem, I keep changing my template, so I never have the chance to finish it

Currently you don't have to destroy your vendor when you drop merchants (sore point for the merchants who want this changer) So you can still get triple master and Artisan. That's what I did when I dropped triple for rifles. Now I'm currently doing the long grind back to triple master. Damn combat xp is so hard to get when you need it

Wow, thanks for the tip.
You need Business III for one vendor, and novice merchant for two vendors

Now lets consider just how much of an exploit this sounds like...
probably because it is considered one. Do this at your own risk.

If it's an exploit...then count me out. Thanks for the heads up.
