I hate people like that, either its some n00b that has not idea how slicing works and they try and pull the "you did nothing to my weapon" crap or its some one trying to scam a newer smuggler. Call him a fool, tell him he has no idea what he is talking about and then tell him to pizz off.Follow this up with a - /ignore.

I haven't heard of a bug (though i'd be the last to know if there was 
)Unless you accidentally handed him your personal set of armor, he's scamming you. Same type of person who made the /banktip scam popular, who claim smugglers steal everything from their container, who want smugglers to use the power-up slice exploit. What's he expecting, you to pay him 200k credits as "reimbursment"? If he actually believed you stole from him, he'd have made a CSR complaint already.

thanks guys figured he was just dumb, I had /addignore him already. Just wanted to make sure there was no bug i did not know about.

I don't get it, I guess I've just been really lucky. I've never had to deal with someone like that...
I've had a few people that their items disappeared after a trade, but not once have they jumped to the conclusion that I stole it. They always relog andI wait for them to return, then we both send a ticket about the bug (the items always reappear after they relog, in my experience at least). I've never had someone say I stole their crystal, although lately I've been pushing container customers on to the new guys.
I've made a pretty good living off of slicing actually, never once dealt with a real jerk... well, not during slicing buisness at least, they're always very understanding of how it works, occasionally I explain how it works to them if they don't know already.

Today I had a guy accuse me of stealing his armor yesterday. I remembered slicing his armour yesterday and I got a base effectiveness slice around 15%. I didn't bother to check the stats before or after the slice. I traded it back, he didn't say anything so I drove away. Now today he /tells me that I stole it and the set I gave back has 0 condition and alot worse stats. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone before. Is it a know bug that sometimes lowers stats on slices?

No sir there is no bug. He/she is trying to scam you, just /denyservice or /addignore them. Happens to everyone.

And that is the reason I slice nothing for nobody....
Me: Sure, I'll slice that container for you. But be warned that 95% of the time it is junk, 4% nothing at all, 1% something like a twin crystal or the like.

Me: Here it is, and I don't ever check to see what is inside by the way.
Idiot: It is empty, you stole my crystal's!!! Thief.....
